Location: Wolverhampton

Start Date: June 2025

Salary: Dependent on experience

Hours: Full-Time

Contract: 1 Term

Role Overview & Key Responsibilities

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that promote pupil engagement, progress, and enjoyment of learning. You will foster a positive classroom environment, support pupils' social and emotional development, and work closely with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.

Typical Responsibilities Include

  • Planning and delivering creative and differentiated lessons across the Year 6 curriculum, including core subjects and creative areas
  • Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting pupils with SEND to access the curriculum and reach their potential
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour strategies
  • Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages respect and collaboration
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues
  • Upholding safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
  • Contributing to school improvement initiatives and team planning
