Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough who are looking for a Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from October half term or earlier.

The successful Year 6 Teacher will teach Year 6, support SATs preparation, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment that helps pupils reach their full potential as they prepare for secondary education.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS.
• KS2 teaching experience, ideally Year 6.
• Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum.
• Experience delivering SATs preparation/boosters is desirable.
• Able to engage pupils of all abilities and manage a class effectively.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 6 and lead SATs booster sessions.
• Deliver engaging lessons aligned to the Year 6 curriculum.
• Support pupils' transition to secondary school.
• Collaborate with a supportive school team.
• Work full-time, Monday to Friday.

About you - Year 6 Teacher - Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

• Must hold QTS
• Previous experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Year 6 curriculum
• Experience delivering SATs preparation and/or booster sessions would be highly desirable
• Ability to engage and motivate pupils of all abilities
• Strong classroom management skills
• High expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
• Available to work full time, Monday to Friday
• Available to start from October half term or earlier
