Prospero Teaching is seeking a Year 6 Primary Teacher for a Kingston upon Thames school. This full-time, temporary post runs September 2026 to July 2027, at £170 per day, with responsibilities including planning, preparation, marking and parents evenings.

You must hold QTS or equivalent, have UK teaching experience, up-to-date safeguarding training, and Right to Work in the UK. DBS check required or willing to apply, plus two professional references. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

About the School

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Year 3 Teacher for a Primary school in Kingston-Upon-Thames, KT2. The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. It is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff. The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year EYFS/KS1/KS2 teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references covering at least the last two years
