Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Tameside, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will support Year 6 pupils with learning activities and SATs preparation, and provide targeted interventions as required.

You will also assist across the classroom in a general TA capacity, supporting pupils with SEND and adapting learning to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Strong Year 6 experience required and understanding of that year group's demands.
• Experience supporting SATs preparation and targeted interventions.
• Ability to support across the classroom in a general TA capacity.
• Experience supporting children with SEND and adapting learning.
• Resilient, proactive and able to build positive relationships with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support Year 6 pupils with learning activities and SATs preparation.
• Provide targeted interventions to pupils as needed.
