Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced Year 6 General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the PR1 area. This full-time, term-time role offers a daily rate from £93 to £96 depending on experience.

You will support pupils in class and in small group interventions with a strong KS2 Year 6 focus and an Enhanced DBS on Update Service. The school provides supportive leadership and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 6.
• Confidence supporting pupils in class and in small group interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.
• An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).
