You will plan engaging lessons, assess progress, differentiate for all abilities and collaborate closely with a parallel Year 5 teacher to support pupil progress and contribute to the school community.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and KS2 teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Effective behaviour and classroom management.
• Able to differentiate for mixed abilities and needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons across the curriculum.
• Assess pupil progress and use data to inform planning.
• Differentiate lessons to meet diverse abilities and needs.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-structured classroom.
• Collaborate with the parallel Year 5 teacher to share resources.
