Long Term Futures is seeking a qualified Year 5 teacher for a Newham primary school (E16) starting January 2027. This full-time temporary-to-permanent role involves leading a KS2 class, planning engaging lessons, and supporting pupil progress with robust assessment.

ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome. The position offers a long-term opportunity with school-led progression and dedicated recruitment consultant support throughout the placement.

Qualificações

• QTS recognised in England.
• Experience or ECTs welcomed for Year 5.
• Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
• Ability to plan, mark and assess effectively.
• Strong relationships with pupils and parents.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
• Take full responsibility for teaching and managing a Year 5 class.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using assessment information to inform future teaching.
• Establish clear classroom expectations and maintain a positive, purposeful learning environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to accommodate different abilities and learning needs.
• Provide constructive feedback through marking and assessment to support pupil development.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and school leadership to support learning.
• Communicate professionally with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and development.
• Contribute to wider school activities, staff meetings and curriculum planning where required.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and promote the welfare of all pupils.
