Job summary

Academics in Havering is seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join a primary school from 2nd November 2026 for a long-term supply role. The position runs until July 2027 with the possibility to extend permanently from September 2027.

You will deliver high-quality Year 5 teaching, plan lessons, assess pupil progress, manage a positive classroom environment, and build strong relationships with pupils and staff to ensure continuity and progression through the academic year.

Qualifications

• QTS confirmed and eligible to teach in the UK.
• Experience teaching Year 5 pupils.
• Strong knowledge of upper KS2 curricula.
• Excellent communication and classroom management.
