Job summary

Academics are recruiting for a Primary Teacher in Havering to join a welcoming school on a permanent, full-time basis from 2nd November 2026. The post is open to teachers across any primary year group.

You will lead engaging lessons, monitor pupil progress and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment with strong teamwork and ongoing CPD.

The role offers progression within the M1–M6 pay scale and chances to develop professionally within a supportive academy network.

Qualifications

• QTS required with primary teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
• Commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
