Tradewind is seeking a strong UKS2 teacher to drive successful outcomes in Year 5 within a supportive school environment that aims to support your career potential! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a 'Good' rated school based in Heaton Chapel, Stockport.
The Year 5 teaching role commences September 2024 until February / potentially Easter and offers the chance to work under a strong educational leader with a supportive team. The position is paid to scale (MPS 1-6) and could lead to permanency depending on school needs. As a larger than average school, there are numerous opportunities to advance your career and showcase your skills.
The school has over 500 pupils, with specialist staff for French, PE, and Forest School, alongside class teachers, teaching assistants, and SNA's. The well-equipped facilities make this a position not to be missed!
As the Year 5 teacher, you will lead a class of approximately 28-30 pupils, including some with SEND needs and EHCPs. Being a two-form entry school, you will benefit from a planning partner familiar with the curriculum, providing excellent support as you learn the school's systems and structures.
