Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 class in SE5, South East London. The role focuses on helping pupils build confidence, engage with learning and reach their full potential within a nurturing classroom.

The ideal candidate will have prior primary school TA experience, be confident with Key Stage 2, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills to support a positive learning environment.

Qualificações

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
• Be confident supporting Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Be patient, proactive and enthusiastic about supporting children learning.
• Be confident helping pupils with different abilities and learning needs.

Responsabilidades

• Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
• Work with Year 5 pupils to reinforce learning across the primary curriculum.
• Provide additional support to pupils who need help understanding tasks and concepts.
• Assist with preparing classroom resources and learning materials.
• Help maintain a positive, safe and engaging learning environment.
• Encourage pupils' participation, confidence and independence.
• Support classroom behaviour and work collaboratively with the teaching team.
