Job summary

Academics are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 5 primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Stoke-on-Trent area, covering a maternity absence from November.

The successful applicant will deliver engaging, well-planned lessons across the full primary curriculum, promote an inclusive classroom, monitor progress and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

Qualifications

• QTS and KS2 experience, Year 5 preferred.
• Strong classroom management and differentiation.
• Committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 5 across the full KS2 curriculum.
• Plan, deliver and assess engaging, well-planned lessons.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to needs.
• Collaborate with staff and involve parents and carers.
