Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School based in Macclesfield who are seeking a Year 5 Class Teacher to start in September 2025. This is an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school with a welcoming and inclusive community of staff and pupils. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for a new and exciting role, or an ECT eager to begin their teaching career.
About the role:
As the Year 5 class teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, in-line with the national curriculum. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils academic progress, personal development, and wellbeing. You will assess and monitor pupil performance, provide constructive feedback, and work closely with parents and support staff to ensure every child reaches their full potential. In addition, you will contribute to the wider life of the school, including attending staff meetings, supporting the wider school community, and upholding the school’s values and ethos.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
