Job summary

Teaching Personnel is working with a friendly primary school in Gorton, Manchester, seeking a Year 5 Teacher to start in September 2026. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, within a supportive school community that values children, learning and staff wellbeing.

You will deliver engaging lessons, differentiate for all learners, assess progress, and build strong relationships with pupils and families while contributing to wider school life and professional development.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and KS2 experience with Year 5 preferred.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and ability to differentiate for diverse learners.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Assess, monitor, and track attainment and progress.
• Establish an inclusive classroom culture with high expectations for behaviour.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and collaborate with staff.
• Participate in CPD and professional development opportunities.
