Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic, broad-based lessons aligned to the KS2 curriculum.
• Collaborate with parallel Year 5 teacher for joint planning and resource development.
• Differentiate learning to support all abilities, including EAL and SEND pupils.
• Support children’s emotional well-being and personal growth alongside academic progress.
• Use positive behaviour management to maintain an encouraging classroom environment.
• Assess pupil progress and use data to target interventions.
• Build strong partnerships with families, colleagues, and the Croydon community.
• Participate in whole-school CPD, staff meetings and extracurricular events.
