Prospero Teaching in Bromley (BR1) is seeking a Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school. The role is full-time and temporary, starting September 2026 and running until July 2027, with a daily rate of £170.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent with at least 1 year UK teaching experience and up-to-date safeguarding training. Rights to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS are required, along with two professional references.

JOB TITLE - Year 5 Primary Teacher

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Primary Teacher for a Primary school in Bromley (BR1).

The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Bromley, BR1.
• Position - Year 5 Primary Teacher

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years

OTHER

The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy. Any adult working with children and vulnerable young people are responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of the children and young people.
