Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a friendly Milton Keynes primary school to recruit a Year 4 Teacher on a full-time fixed-term contract until July 2027, with potential for a permanent role.

You will plan and deliver Year 4 lessons across English, Maths and the wider curriculum, differentiate learning and assess pupil progress.

Start date is immediate or September 2026; ECTs are welcome and will be fully supported, with a proactive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school.
• Year 4 experience is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• ECTs are welcome to apply and will be fully supported.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Year 4 lessons.
• Teach across English, Maths and the wider curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
