Smile Education is recruiting an experienced Year 4 teacher for a primary school in Wolverhampton. Qualifications

Smile Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Year 4 teacher to join a primary school in the Wolverhampton area. We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and experienced teacher who can provide high-quality teaching while creating a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment for young pupils.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher who is confident teaching Year 4 and is looking for a new opportunity within a supportive primary school.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
• Supporting pupils across all areas of their learning and development
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs and abilities of individual pupils
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and progress
• Supporting pupils' social and emotional development
• Building positive relationships with pupils and creating a strong classroom culture
• Working effectively with teaching assistants and other members of staff
• Contributing to assessment and record keeping
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and parents/carers where required
• Supporting pupils to become confident and independent learners
• Identifying where pupils may require additional support and adapting your teaching accordingly
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging children to take pride in their learning

• Qualified to teach in the UK

• Ideally experienced specifically within Year 2
• Confident with planning, assessment and classroom management

Previous experience teaching Year 4 is highly desirable, as the school is looking for someone who can confidently step into the role and make a positive contribution from the outset.
