Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Year 4 Teacher for a primary school in Liverpool to start September 2026 on a temporary, long-term basis.

The role requires KS2 experience, QTS, and a strong knowledge of the national curriculum, with 5 days per week and flexible, school-based hours. Temp-to-perm routes and APSCo compliance are highlighted in the benefits package.

Year 4 Teacher- September 2026

We are recruiting for a Year 4 Teacher for a Primary School in Liverpool to work on a temporary, long-term basis starting immediately!

The Year 4 Teacher role is to start September to December 2026.

This role is working 5 x full days per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 am- 16:00 pm. There are 24 children in the class, and two full-time TA is working on a one-to-one basis with a SEND child. The school would like someone who has previous KS2 teaching experience

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Teaching the children in class and ensuring they complete their work to a high standard
  • Guiding children through the curriculum, marking work and setting homework tasks
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Upholding the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
Requirements or Skills:
  • A teaching qualification with QTS
  • Recent teaching experience in a school or education setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Exceptional organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
