Job summary

Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary school in the Redditch area (B98) seeking a confident Year 4 teacher to join from this Academic Year. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, maintain high standards of behaviour, and support pupils to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and capable of building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues, while following safeguarding procedures and school policies.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Experience teaching in a primary school.
• Experience in Key Stage 2/Year 4 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 4 lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Establish clear expectations and strong behaviour management.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to needs.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Build relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the wider school team.
• Maintain records and contribute to assessment and planning.
• Follow safeguarding procedures.
