Year 3 Teacher

Smile Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school based in Tamworth, who are currently seeking a passionate Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

Position: Year 3 Class Teacher

Location: Tamworth

Type: Full-time, Ongoing

Start Date: June 2025

About the Role: This is a full class teaching position with full responsibilities, including planning, preparation, delivery and assessment of the Year 3 curriculum. You will work as part of a dedicated and collaborative Key Stage 2 team, supported by senior leadership and teaching assistants.

You’ll be expected to:

1. Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
2. Take full responsibility for planning and marking.
3. Assess progress and provide regular feedback to pupils and parents.
4. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
2. Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
3. Strong behaviour management skills and high expectations of learners.
4. A commitment to supporting the school’s ethos and values.
