Year 3 Teacher

Location: Great Missenden

Salary:£31,350 – £47,839

Contract:Full-time, Long-Term

Start Date:September 2025

Role/Responsibilities:

• Teach all subjects to Year 3 as needed
• Use effective teaching methods for KS2 and stay updated on educational developments
• Manage the classroom environment to support high-quality learning
• Foster pupils’ independent working skills
• Take full responsibility for the class, including academic progress and pastoral care
• Prepare lesson plans in line with school policies
• Integrate ICT and promote cross-curricular learning

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status with a record of ongoing professional development
• Proven teaching experience in a relevant setting
• Familiar with current educational trends and their impact on teaching and learning
• Skilled in planning, delivering, and evaluating effective teaching strategies
• Confident in using data to track progress, set targets, and raise achievement
• Experienced in classroom observation and quality assurance
• Understands curriculum planning, assessment for learning, and effective reporting to parents
