Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant in Tewkesbury for a part-time position (Mondays all day, Tuesdays mornings, Wednesdays all day). You will provide 1:1 and small group support for a Year 3 pupil with SEN, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.

The role focuses on developing the pupil's academic, social and emotional skills within a nurturing, inclusive environment, with constructive feedback to staff and opportunities to access CPD resources.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a pupil with SEN in a primary setting.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach is essential.
• Strong communication with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for a Year 3 pupil with SEN.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO on tailored activities.
• Support academic, social and emotional development of the pupil.
• Help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff.
