Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a Year 3 Teacher to join a primary school in the DL1 area of Darlington on a full-time basis, starting November 2026. The role focuses on delivering engaging Year 3 lessons within Key Stage 2, underpinned by a strong commitment to children's learning and development.

The successful candidate will plan, teach, and assess the full primary curriculum, differentiate for pupils’ needs, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom and school community.

Qualifications

• QTS and primary teaching experience in a school setting.
• Experience teaching Year 3 or KS2 is highly desirable.
• Ability to plan, teach and assess the full primary curriculum.
• High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
• Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons aligned to KS2.
• Teach and assess pupils across the full primary curriculum.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom.
• Differentiate to meet varying abilities and monitor progress.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
• Support pupils’ literacy, numeracy and overall development.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and school leaders.
