Responsibilities

• To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education and to support the Headteacher in promoting the ethos of the school.
• To meet and conform to the Teachers Standards and the current Pay and Conditions document.
• To follow School Policies under the direction of the Headteacher.
• To plan and prepare lessons and deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (as applicable) and the school schemes of work.
• To identify clear teaching objectives and learning outcomes with appropriate challenges.
• To monitor and record pupils' progress and communicate with parents about academic, social and emotional development.
