Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a friendly primary school in the CM3 area to appoint a dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to cover maternity leave from November 2026. The role is full-time, 5 days a week, with responsibilities across planning, delivering engaging KS2 lessons and monitoring pupil progress.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have solid experience in primary education, strong classroom management and a collaborative approach within a supportive staff team.

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience delivering engaging KS2 lessons.
• Year 3 class teaching to cover maternity leave from November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons across Year 3.
• Assess pupil progress and maintain high behaviour expectations.
• Support pupils including those with SEND and provide inclusive learning.
