Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching within a UK primary school.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt confidently across different age groups and year groups.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Confidence using Google Classroom, or willingness to learn quickly.

Location: Epsom, Surrey Start Date: September 2026 Job Type: Part-Time Supply Teacher Pay: £150 to £180 per day (PAYE), dependent on experience

Part-Time Primary Supply Teacher Job in Epsom, Surrey We are currently recruiting for an experienced and adaptable Part-Time Primary Supply Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Epsom, Surrey, from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident teacher who enjoys variety and is happy to work across different year groups, supporting the school wherever needed. The role may involve teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, making flexibility and a positive attitude essential. The school is seeking a teacher with strong classroom management skills who is confident supporting classes that include pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and who can create a positive, inclusive learning environment for all children.

The Role

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Commitment to supporting both academic progress and pupil wellbeing.
  • You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face-to-face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role.
