Milk Education is assisting a Standish primary school in finding a Year 2 Teaching Assistant for a 1‑to‑1 role with a Year 2 pupil who has Autism. This full-time post starts in September 2026 and may become permanent with the school.
Hours are 08:30am–15:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will support learning, prepare resources, and create a patient, nurturing environment to help the child stay on task and engage with work to a high standard.
Year 2 Teaching Assistant-Standish
Milk Education are working with a primary school in Standish (WN6) who are seeking a full-time Year 2 Teaching Assistant to work 1‑2‑1 with a child in Year 2 who has Autism.
This temporary role starts in September 2026, with the potential to become permanent directly at the school.
The school is looking for someone patient, nurturing, and accommodating to the child's learning needs for this Year 2 Teaching Assistant position. The hours of work are 08:30am‑15:30pm, Monday to Friday.
This Year 2 Teaching Assistant role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they are doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the child's needs are being met. In this Year 2 Teaching Assistant role, you will provide a patient and nurturing learning environment for the child.
