Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. seeks a Year 2 Teacher for a January 2027 start at a welcoming Liverpool (L14) primary school. This temp-to-perm role is ideal for an ECT or fully inducted teacher, offering progression to a permanent position after a successful placement.

You will teach Year 2, deliver quality lessons, and contribute to a positive school culture with strong support from Teaching Personnel throughout the recruitment process.

Qualifications

  • QTS required or eligible for QTS.
  • Experience teaching in a primary KS1 setting.
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Year 2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons; monitor pupil progress.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • ECT or fully inducted teacher status
  • Experience of teaching within a primary school setting during training placements or employment
  • Strong understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum expectations
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skillsPassion for helping children achieve their full potential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
