Role: Year 2 Class Teacher

Location: Lichfield

Position: Full-time, maternity cover

Start Date: June 2025

The Role:

• Delivering engaging lessons to the Year 2 class of approximately 25 students.
• Planning lessons for the core subjects, following the KS1 curriculum.
• Ensuring a safe, positive learning environment for all learners.
• Creating and maintaining a strong parent partnership.
• Effectively marking and assessing children's work and exams.
• Recording and monitoring children's learning development and progress.

Ideal applicants will:

• Hold a UK valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Show confidence teaching within Key Stage 1 and have strong knowledge of the curriculum.
• Have a nurturing, positive classroom presence.
• Be either a dedicated ECT or experienced class teacher.
