Job summary

Hethersett Woodside Primary and Nursery School are seeking a committed, enthusiastic Year 2 teacher to join our 2-form entry school. This fixed term post runs until August 2027 and welcomes Early Career Teachers.

You will work alongside a colleague and two Teaching Assistants, in a brand new state-of-the-art building with a strong team ethos. We expect high expectations for pupil learning, a solid knowledge of KS1, and a collaborative approach within the school.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Key Stage 1.
• Ability to work as part of a large team within a busy school.
• Positive, consistent approach to behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Teach a Year 2 class in a 2-form entry school with TA support.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and safeguarding.
• Collaborate with Phase Leader and colleagues to drive attainment.
