Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher to join a Year 2 class at a one-form-entry primary school in Stafford.

The role is full-time, long-term, starting as soon as possible and continuing until December 2026, with potential for extension. You will plan, assess and deliver engaging lessons alongside a Teaching Assistant and manage pupil behaviour.

Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a Key Stage 1 position?

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 2 class at a one-form-entry primary school based in Stafford.

Our client is looking to recruit a Key Stage 1 Teacher to work on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible and continuing until December 2026, with the potential for this to be extended.

You will be expected to:

• Plan, assess and mark pupils’ work in line with the school’s policies.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Work effectively alongside a Teaching Assistant.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Manage pupil behaviour confidently and effectively.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply, as well as experienced teachers.

The working days will be Monday to Friday, from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm.

Required Skills and Experience

To be considered for this Primary Teacher role, you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have confidence in leading a classroom.
• Have strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Have the ability to work effectively alongside a Teaching Assistant.

On-site parking is also available for those travelling by car.
