Flourish Education in Cannock is recruiting a part-time KS1 Primary Teacher to cover a Year 2 class at a one-form-entry primary school. The role starts as soon as possible and runs until March 2027, with Thursdays and Fridays 8:15 am–4:30 pm.

You must hold QTS, be confident leading a classroom, manage behaviour effectively and collaborate with a Teaching Assistant. A competitive daily rate of up to £232.57, plus holiday pay, pension contributions and ongoing CPD are on offer.

Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a Key Stage 1 position?

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 2 class at a one-form-entry primary school based in Cannock.

Our client is looking to recruit a Key Stage 1 Teacher to work on a part-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible and continuing until March 2027.

You will be expected to:

• Plan, assess and mark pupils’ work in line with the school’s policies.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Work effectively alongside a Teaching Assistant.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Manage pupil behaviour confidently and effectively.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply, as well as experienced teachers.

The working days will be Thursday and Friday, from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm.

Required Skills and Experience

To be considered for this Primary Teacher role, you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have confidence in leading a classroom.
• Have strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Have the ability to work effectively alongside a Teaching Assistant.

The school is based in Cannock and has good transport links from surrounding areas, including Codsall, Penkridge and Burntwood.

On-site parking is also available for those travelling by car.
