Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 3 class at a three-form-entry primary school in Cannock. The role is part-time, Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:15 am to 4:30 pm, starting October 2026 with a view to extension and a long-term placement.

You will plan, assess, and mark pupil work, deliver engaging lessons, and work collaboratively with a Teaching Assistant and other teachers to provide high-quality learning experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a Key Stage 2 teaching position?

Flourish Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 3 class at a three-form-entry primary school in Cannock.

Our client is seeking a Key Stage 2 Teacher to work on a part-time, long-term basis, starting in October 2026 and continuing until December 2026 to begin with, with the potential for the role to be extended.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Plan, assess, and mark pupils' work in line with the school’s policies.
  • Deliver engaging, creative, and inspiring lessons that support pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the Teaching Assistant and other class teachers to provide high-quality learning experiences.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.

ECTs are encouraged to apply, as well as experienced teachers. Our client has the capacity to support Early Career Teachers through their induction years.

This is a part-time position, working Mondays and Tuesdays, from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm.

To apply for this Primary Teaching role, you will need:

  • Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2 through placements or previous employment.
  • To hold, or be on track to achieve, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Excellent behaviour management and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • A strong reference from a recent school placement or employer.
