Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Year 2 Teacher for a North London primary school on a full-time basis. The role runs from after half term until the end of the academic year, with pay on the MPS scale and PAYE pay.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, planning, delivering lessons, and tracking progress to ensure both academic and personal growth. Strong KS1 knowledge and QTS are essential.

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching Year 2 / KS1.
• Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum and assessment.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Year 2 Teacher - North London

Full-Time | Immediate Start After Half Term | Until July 2027 | MPS (M1-M6) | PAYE

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in North London to recruit an experienced Year 2 Teacher to join their team after half term on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher looking for a long-term role within a supportive school community. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 2 class and play a key role in ensuring pupils continue to make strong academic and personal progress throughout the year.

The Role

• Full-time Year 2 Teacher position
• Starting after half term
• Long-term contract until the end of the academic year
• Full classroom responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessment
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum
• Monitor pupil progress and implement interventions where required
• Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings and contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• Strong curriculum knowledge and assessment understanding
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passion for creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
