Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Year 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Pemberton, WN5. You will work one-to-one with two Year 2 pupils, supporting their individual needs and helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps.

You will also collaborate with the class teacher on lesson planning and adapt resources to suit learning styles. This long-term role starts in September with flexible days and strong safeguarding and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting.
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Year 2 SEND Teaching Assistant

We're currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Pemberton, WN5 to work one-to-one with two Year 2 children. You will support one child in the morning and another child in the afternoon. This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role.

You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on supporting children to become motivated whilst upholding a positive learning attitude. This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
