Job summary

First for Education is seeking a Primary Year 2 Teacher for a Sutton Coldfield primary school. This part-time, temporary role focuses on delivering high-quality KS1 lessons and supporting early literacy and numeracy alongside a dedicated team.

You will work with teaching assistants and the SENCO to support children with additional needs, while maintaining strong links with parents. QTS is essential; in-person placement with DBS checks required.

Salary: £160.00 - £175.00 Per day (dependent on Experience)

A highly supportive primary school in Sutton Coldfield is looking for a Year 2 Teacher to join their Primary team. The school values a nurturing approach and provides an excellent induction programme for KS1 Teachers.

• Plan and deliver high-quality KS1 lessons
• Support early literacy and numeracy development in young learners.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a passion for Key Stage 1 education.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and phonics schemes.
