Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Liverpool L14 area. This is a temp-to-perm role starting January 2027, offering the chance to demonstrate classroom skills in a supportive KS1 setting before a permanent contract.

QTS or ECT status is required; you will deliver engaging Year 2 lessons, plan using the National Curriculum, monitor progress, and build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT with induction status.
• Experience in a primary school setting during training or employment.
• Strong KS1 curriculum understanding and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Year 2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons; monitor pupil progress.
