Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Year 2 Teacher for a temp-to-perm role at a welcoming primary school in the Liverpool L14 area. January 2027 start with a competitive daily pay rate and the potential to move to a permanent position.

ECT or fully inducted teachers with QTS are encouraged to apply. The role focuses on Key Stage 1, fostering a supportive learning environment and strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• ECT or fully inducted status acceptable.
• Experience in a primary school setting during training or employment appreciated.
• Strong KS1 curriculum knowledge and classroom management required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Year 2 lessons to a KS1 class.
• Create an inclusive and positive classroom culture.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons per National Curriculum.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide appropriate interventions.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
• Contribute to wider school life and initiatives.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
