Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced Year 2 Teacher for a long-term role in Huntingdon (PE28) starting September 2026. The successful candidate will join a high-performing infant school known for strong leadership, excellent facilities and a welcoming culture.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging Year 2 lessons, planning, preparing and adapting lessons to meet all pupils’ needs, and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Experience teaching Year 2 in a primary setting.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons.
• Strong communication with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Year 2 lessons aligned to the National Curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning activities and outcomes.
