Job summary

The Supply Register, in partnership with L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is recruiting a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 class at Birley Spa Primary Academy in Sheffield from September 2026.

The role focuses on supporting whole-class learning, leading small group and 1:1 interventions, and assisting with planning and delivery. Experience in KS1 and a Level 3 TA qualification are essential. A proactive, reliable approach and strong behaviour management are expected.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting pupils in KS1.
• Confidence working independently with groups and individuals.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• A proactive, reliable and committed approach.

Responsibilities

• Supporting whole-class learning in a Year 1 classroom
