Job summary

The Supply Register is recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils at Birley Spa Primary Academy, in partnership with the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust. Immediate & September 2026 starts available with flexible supply and long-term roles.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support learning, work with teachers to create engaging experiences, encourage positive behaviour, provide individual support, and help foster a safe, inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in educational settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning and development in the classroom.
