A welcoming and supportive primary school in Hillingdon is seeking a caring and committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a part-time maternity cover basis from September 2025. The school is looking for a Year 1 Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave for a part-time position (working days negotiable). You will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum in a well-resourced and well-behaved classroom, supported by a teaching assistant and working closely with the parallel Year 1 teacher.
The successful candidate will contribute to the continued development of early literacy and numeracy skills while supporting children’s transition from EYFS to Key Stage 1.
- A qualified teacher with QTS
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1
- A solid understanding of phonics and early childhood development
