Vision for Education is seeking a Year 1 Teacher for maternity cover in Hartlepool from November 2026 to July 2027. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, during school hours. The successful candidate will teach Year 1, planning, delivering, and assessing learning to support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

QTS is required, with experience in Key Stage 1 (Year 1) advantageous. Salary is dependent on experience, training, and qualifications.

Qualifications

• QTS required for consideration.
• Experience teaching KS1, especially Year 1, is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
• Differentiate learning activities to meet all learners' needs.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies as required.
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and personal development.
