Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a small, community-focused primary school in Kensington to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support their Year 1 team. You will provide classroom support and help pupils access the Year 1 curriculum, with a focus on children with SEN.

The role is full-time, long-term, starting ASAP, with pay £95 per day for candidates with at least three months' experience and £100 per day for those with Level 3 TA qualification and over 12 months’ SEND experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a primary school.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support and help pupils access the Year 1 curriculum.
• Support pupils with SEN, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH or SLD as needed.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and wider school team.
