Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher for a long-term, full-time role in Barnet starting in November. You will teach a KS1 Year 1 class in a supportive primary school, planning and delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupil development.

Applicants should have QTS (or equivalent) and experience in KS1, with strong classroom management and the ability to plan differentiated lessons. A proactive, communicative approach and collaboration with staff and parents are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent in the UK.
• Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons.
• A positive, enthusiastic and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with young pupils.
• A proactive, organised and flexible approach.
• Genuine passion for teaching and helping children reach their potential.
