Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Year 1 Teacher to inspire young learners at a welcoming primary school in Nelson. This full-time maternity cover role requires delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and supporting pupils as they transition into Key Stage 1.

The successful candidate will have QTS, KS1 experience, and strong classroom management. Start date January 2027 with ongoing professional development and a collaborative school community.

Qualificações

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
• Be passionate about creating engaging and inspiring learning opportunities.
• Have high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
• Be a reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous professional development.
• Work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, deliver, and differentiate lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to inform teaching.
• Support pupils' literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents.
• Promote high standards of behaviour and learning.
• Contribute to school life through enrichment activities and events.
