Job summary

Laburnum Primary School is recruiting a Year 1 class teacher for a fixed-term, full-time post running until 31 August 2027. Responsibilities

Teach the Advantage Schools curriculum to a cohort of pupils.
Use assessment to inform responsive action that fills gaps in knowledge.
Ensure teaching and learning practice is supported by robust research and evidence.
Maintain and contribute to curriculum development and champion the school’s approach.
Work as part of the teaching team and help develop other teaching staff where appropriate.
Uphold very high expectations and standards in all aspects of school life.
Ensure safeguarding procedures and practices are followed with rigour.
