We are currently recruiting for a Yarn Store Operative to join our busy Yarn Store. Our growing Yarn Store is like a library of wool cones, stacked floor to ceiling with classic and new colours. We currently have a vacancy available involving a range of tasks including, but not limited to, booking in yarns, issuing yarns, stock taking, stock control, and winding.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 38 hours per week on a three-shift rotation (early, back, and night).
Rate of pay starting from £13.45 per hour, along with shift pay allowance.
As a Yarn Store Operative here at Johnstons of Elgin, your key responsibilities will include:
Additional duties include assisting with operating winding machines as required.
This role involves physical work with some manual handling tasks required. All training will be provided.
