A leading Builders' Merchant is seeking a motivated Yard Supervisor to support management and oversee a yard team operations. This role is pivotal in maximizing sales, ensuring safety, and maintaining high customer service standards while providing opportunities for progression in an expanding business.

Overall Objective
Responsible for supporting the Management Team and supervising the yard team to ensure the efficient running of the yard function, supporting the smooth operation of the yard and to ensure sales are delivered on time and with minimum disruption, in line with standard operating practices and HSE requirements.
To maximise the sales and margin potential of the branch in line with the agreed business objectives and to control all aspects of the operation including delivery vehicle usage.
Responsibility for supervising the yard team, including ensuring the administration, coordination and movements of vehicles meets customer and internal Company requirements at all times
Job Description:
A Yard Supervisor will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:
Education/Qualifications/Experience: Must have a good level of written and spoken English.Previous experience is essential and proven supervisory skills with relevant product knowledge preferred, ideally gained within a similar industry. Fork lift experience and knowledge of transport legislation desirable.
